Meet our Partner, Nina Ambroz
I'm Nina Ambroz, graduated from University of Ljubljana in 1998. I have been a military veterinarian and owned my own practice in Slovenia. I have been a Partner with Medivet Newton-le-Willows from 2026. I love being a veterinarian with particular interest in behaviour, soft tissue surgery and dentistry, but most of all I like taking care of pets. I share my life with my Parson Russel Terrier Crispy, cat Neva, and Arwen the mare. I love traveling, going to concerts, photography, reading, and playing Dungeons and Dragons.

My little dog recently underwent dental treatment at the surgery, everything was explained to me beforehand and all questions were answered in detail. I was phoned when he was in the recovery process and reassured that everything went well. When I went to pick him up Gemma explained what medication had been prescribed and booked an appointment for his checkup the following week. After being very worried about what would happen everything went smoothly and my dogs treatment was successful. Thank you to all involved in looking after him.

lovely clean and friendly practice and the vet was lovely and genuinely cared. We were wating for some blood tests results and he rang personally with the results to explain them to us. Further tests needed on his recommendation and no pressure to have additional treatment/immunisations

Friendly, helpful reception staff who always remember your pet. Vet Claire will always fit you in if you are anxious about anything and is a very pleasant lady. Decently priced and so convenient for us.

Just a thought ... The new look of the reception area was bland/clinical and not as friendly as previously. Perhaps needs some more attention to detail.

As our dog is reactive staff made sure Bruce had the time to have treatment and discuss before next appointment x Also details provided for further support with reactiveness

Great service, and very friendly staff..👍👍But the downside, Really poor parking, waiting room and consultation room really small, also since medivet have taken over prices have shot up....😟😟
