Meet our Partner, Nina Ambroz
I'm Nina Ambroz, graduated from University of Ljubljana in 1998. I have been a military veterinarian and owned my own practice in Slovenia. I have been a Partner with Medivet Newton-le-Willows from 2026. I love being a veterinarian with particular interest in behaviour, soft tissue surgery and dentistry, but most of all I like taking care of pets. I share my life with my Parson Russel Terrier Crispy, cat Neva, and Arwen the mare. I love traveling, going to concerts, photography, reading, and playing Dungeons and Dragons.

My dog is very hypoactive, bounces around all over the place and is hard to control at times. My dog resisted going onto the table so the Vet put her back onto the floor and got down to that level and carried out an examination etc. My dog instantly calmed down and became so relaxed. Over the years I have never experienced a Vet getting down to the same level as the dog. Perhaps if they did, pets would feel relaxed and not threatened by a stranger (Vet) trying to perform an examination which puts the animal out of their comfort zone becoming anxious and on the defence

Great vet but can you please update your opening hours as I've been 3 times to collect flea and worm treatment for my cats and you were closed before 6pm

Excellent service from Medivet Newton le Willows. Got an appointment at very short notice. Vet checked the dogs anal glands and prescribed antibiotics. Very happy with the appointment and the care shown to our dog.

Very nice veterinary nurse but was a little taken back with the price. Very expensive for check up booster injections. I'll have to win the lottery for next year
