I moved to Medivet in Patrington as I was unhappy with the care for my pet at a nearby vetinary practice. I was with Medivet prior to moving in June this year from Derby.

Paul is an outstanding vet and an asset to the business. His care and professionalism go well beyond the norm. Having owned many dogs over nearly 40 years and used different vets at several practices I can say with confidence that he is the very best we have seen.
He should be congratulated for his service and commitment.
On this occasion the nurses were also very good, making the whole experience stress free.

Wish Martha has still there! Arrived for our normal 6-7 weekly appointment for Maddies librela injection. The reception/admin staff are brilliant btw. We always book the last appointment before lunchtime so we don't have anyone waiting. My husband always checks if anyone is in the reception area and we only go in when it's clear. This has been the same routine for years. We did the normal routine but we were kept waiting for over 10 mins to see the vet, meantime I am getting stressed which Maddie was picking up on, as I was worried someone was going to walk in. Maddie is very reactive with other dogs and people she doesn't know. When we finally got called in the vet had no idea why we were there. Maddie was barking and getting stressed. Surely she had time to review her notes and know why we were there. I just asked her to get the injection done so we can leave. I would have expected the vet to know why we were there!

Fantastic reception the lady was very kind and explained everything very clearly. Was so helpful in everything. The lady who treated my Hugo was amazing and very helpful.

Not always easy to get an appointment with the vet of your choosing. Closed Wednesdays. Swanland location a long way from Withernsea.

Paul and his team have catered for Tango, our cat for the last 12 years. The advice and diagnosis provided are always detailed and various options are offered when it’s applicable. Paul handles Tango like he’s his own cat and puts him at ease every time. I couldn’t wish for a better vet!

Nose-to-tail health check
We're excited to announce that we're now offering a new nose-to-tail health check, discounted up to 25%. This includes a coat examination, body conditioning check, mobility assessment plus a flea, tick, teeth and ear check. If required your pet can also receive a nail clip.
