Not always easy to get an appointment with the vet of your choosing. Closed Wednesdays. Swanland location a long way from Withernsea.

Paul and his team have catered for Tango, our cat for the last 12 years. The advice and diagnosis provided are always detailed and various options are offered when it’s applicable. Paul handles Tango like he’s his own cat and puts him at ease every time. I couldn’t wish for a better vet!

I cannot fault the care given to my cat, Tango,, by Medivet. Paul has cared for his every need since a kitten and is now providing superb palliative care. Paul is so knowledgeable and informative and is prepared to trial things to extend life without being detrimental to Tango’s wellbeing. I can thoroughly trust him in his medical opinions. When my Tango was first diagnosed with acute heart disease, he was given 3 months, if that. Now 14 months later, thanks to Paul, we’ve enjoyed a whole summer, and an extra year, with our little tiger. And Tango has had quality of life as a result. How can I start to thank you?!!! Thank you.
Michaela, the receptionist at Patrington has provided support above and beyond my expectations.
She has continued to ensure Tango has all medications needed, and he has never had to go without, even though it has been difficult to source some medicines like the diuretics. Plus, she is so loving towards him each visit and really understands the ‘end of life’ traumas and tears!
I’d also like to thank Becky at Swanland for understanding the need for an appointment at a difficult time, without unnecessarily using emergency appointments without due caution.
Thanks to Barbera for her skill in operating on Tango twice, and thanks for the continuity of care from Asif, (not sure if that’s the correct spelling) for removing Tango’s fluids so carefully after liaising with Barbera, even though she had left the practice to return to Italy, and hence, extending our time with him.
Thank you Medivet. I know you will ensure the remaining, precious time I have with Tango, will be the very best.

Patrington Medivet staff are are all very professional and friendly from the reception to the vets, I took my dog for a health check and joint pain check and the vet was very patient with her. We recently moved into the area and used medivet where we used to live and I can honestly say Patrington Medivet staff are so much more friendly and helpful.

Nose-to-tail health check
