There was a high demand at the time I rang the practice. So I tried the online booking system as suggested , for the first time ever. I tried to register but it said it recognised my email. Therefore it wouldn’t allow me to register or put a password in. So I gave up. I rang the practice again. The receptionist said she had no idea what was wrong. So your online booking system is really not useful at all. I booked via the phone eventually.

The vet we saw was new to us but immediately showed concern for our 14 year old mini Schnautzer Millie who has now got 1 or 2 health issues. The vet was very knowledgeable and we felt she would do all she could to help us deal with Millies problems.

Cannot recommend the team at Medivet Pontefract enough. They looked after my dog so well when she had her spay operation and always put my mind at ease when I have questions.

The vets and the reception staff are always friendly and accommodating. They have a great manner with both customers and the animals in their care.

Health check and annual vaccinations for my 10 year old dog. Not much engagement from the vet, checked her over but never gave any feedback re teeth etc , had to ask as I was leaving. No weight taken or asking whether flea and worming up to date. Any problems was all I was asked when I first arrived. Was in there for maybe 3 minutes. Not the greatest experience as my dog was shaking but the vet wasn’t trying to calm her at all. Worst visit I’ve had. Came out feeling quite unvalued. Such a shame as usually vets more proactive and talkative. I would be changing vets if my dog wasn’t so old. Just a business now and don’t feel like the pets welfare is the first priority.

I was taken before my appointment time. The vet was really caring and took time to examine my cat thoroughly.

All good except very expensive I googled how much I should pay for annual vaccinations and it said £50-£70 I was charged £94 I think I will shop around in future
