From the moment we arrived at Medivet Southwark, everyone was kind, professional and welcoming. Dr. Giuseppe was gentle, thorough and took the time to listen to my concerns. He explained everything in a way that made me feel both informed and reassured. My boy was treated with such care and compassion and I’m happy to see that he is finally back to he’s playful and lively self. I’m beyond grateful for Dr. Giuseppe and the rest of the Medivet Southwark team. Highly recommend this practice!

On the 7th May 2025, I had a disturbing experience in the reception area. A man entered with an XL Bully that was clearly out of control (the dog was dragging him around, wouldn't sit, had to be jerked onto the scale and the owner was constantly shouting and slapping it across the face for it to be "disciplined"). Despite trying to sit across the room, the owner couldn't contain the dog and the XL Bully eventually ran towards us and tried to jump on me and my dog (whom I was carrying in my arms). I shouted at the owner, but he took no responsibility and made excuses all whilst picking up the furniture that his dog knocked over in the process. What was disappointing was the lack of response from the reception staff as they simply watched and kept quiet (even afterwards). There is no protocol in place to ensure the safety of clients and their pets when dangerous breeds are brought in, and only the head vet (Giuseppe) acknowledged the incident, offered an apology and even ensured the other dog had already left before we exited the consult room. This was a deeply unsettling visit and unfortunately having to worry about your own safety and that of your pet is the last thing you want at the vet.

I couldn’t be more grateful for the care and attention the team at Medivet gave to my cat. From the moment we walked in, they made us feel welcome and reassured. The vet was incredibly knowledgeable, gentle, and patient—not only with my cat but with me as well, taking the time to explain everything clearly and compassionately. It’s obvious they truly care about animals and go the extra mile to make both pets and owners feel at ease. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet who combines professionalism with genuine kindness.

I was with Medivet for 13 years when my dog Lulu past away last year, they treated her with the utmost respect and care, she loved going to the vets to see the staff. I now have a beautiful puppy and I would only trust the staff at Medivet to take care of her.

Such a friendly team and easy to use service. Really quick and easy set up online and such a welcoming and friendly team to greet us. Vets are so lovely and friendly here and made our little kitten (and us!) feel so comfortable and at ease!

Fantastic support in assisting me to manage my elderly dog with her increasing number of medical conditions. Tara is so patient in answering all my questions and gives me the confidence to look after Tatty well. Also need to mention the helpful staff at reception, particularly Lisa, who help me sort out any issues with medication and appointments
