Medivet 24 Hour Camberwell is a veterinary hospital in south London, open every hour of the day. From overnight emergencies to planned advanced surgery, we have CT, x-ray, ultrasound and theatres on site, with vets and nurses on shift through the night. We welcome referrals from local vets across London and the south east, and keep your own team in the loop.

The staff are lovely and that you can get an emergency appointment, however, the price is grossly inflated and that is the reason I can’t recommend this place. They know you love your pet and I feel the price takes advantage of that!

This vets is grossly over priced! Money is more important than the animal when the prices are that inflated. The vet were lovely but the price is terrible! That is the reason I cannot recommend this vets, the price!

I switched to this practice after a bad experience with my previous vet, and I'm so glad I did. Throughout many visits, only two vets have been involved with my cat's care, which has meant the information is followed through thoroughly and consistently. Despite having a lot of clients, the receptionists and the vets remember my cat and genuinely care, which I really appreciate. The team has been thorough with the tests without ever alarming me.

I booked a vet check-up last week. On the day of the appointment, I only got a text at noon saying the exam was canceled and I had to rebook via phone instead of online. I’d already given my cat prescribed sedation as instructed, so my cat took the medicine for nothing and I have to reschedule for next week. No staff offered any apology whatsoever. Terrible service.

This is our out of hours vet as we’re usually based in Battersea and we’ve never had a bad experience - everyone has always been exceptionally kind, patient and professional. We’ve had some really horrible events from grass seeds in ear canals to uncontrollable nerve pain in my dachshund’s back - the team have always been amazing, going so far as to offer we call them purely for moral support and reassurance when transporting our dog after an overnight stay for two hours in the car to a specialist hospital for surgery the next day. Louis, Zoe, Tom and T have all been wonderful and we are super grateful.

Our dogs both ended up at Camberwell Medivet over the weekend with gastroenteritis—first on Sunday for our dog who was vomiting, and then again on Monday night when Fergus had to stay overnight for a IV drip. The staff were all lovely, caring, and happy to provide updates whenever I called to ask. A special mention to Riccardo, the vet who met with me when Fergus was discharged. He was kind, reassuring, and it was obvious Fergus had really warmed to him, which meant a lot to me. I'm giving 4 stars rather than 5 because I felt a bit left in the dark about Fergus's progress during his stay. The only updates I received were that he wasn't eating, and I would have appreciated more proactive communication about how he was doing throughout the night. That said, the care both of our dogs received was excellent, and I'm very grateful to the whole team for looking after them so well. Thank you all for everything you did.

I'd like to share my best compliments to all the staff, and in particular to Dr Fanciullo: they were super helpful with my cat, especially in a very busy day like yesterday.
I have no words to express my gratitude on how they professionally dealt with everything.
Such a shame they look understaffed, and the clinic is a bit off the road, but it's definitely the best spot where you want to have your pet cared for.
