From answering my phone calls to clinical care delivery it is obvious everyone is solution focussed and wanting the very best for my poorly pet. Provide detailed information about their clinical status and the treatment road ahead.

Whilst I have no problems with the practice staff who are always helpful and polite, I do have a problem wirh the price of a prescription £22. This is done I am sure to stop you buying cheaper medication on line, because with the price of a prescription it cancels out any savings you would have made.

My dog Ralph was registered at Goldthorpe practice and unfortunately for us and many others this wonderful little practice was closed down at the end of January. However we were happy to hear that the lovely vet Tina who we had seen on a few occasions at Goldthorpe had moved to the practice at Wath. We visited Wath for the first time this week to be seen by Tina and we were made to feel very welcome by the ladies on reception.Thankyou from Sharon & Ralph xx

Been with Medivet/ Arncliffes more years than I care to remember. Service has always been fantastic from the staff on reception right through to the veterinary services. I had occasion this week to liaise with a new vet regarding my cats ongoing long-term treatment. The procedure and follow up has been exemplary, including a phone call to discuss my cat therapeutic levels and his optimum treatment. veterinary care nowadays is very very expensive, but the reassurance and continued care that my wee ageing cat receives Makes it it reassuring, open and inclusive involving me as both the owner and carer for the cat. I can’t recommend Wath highly enough and will continue with them for as long as able. The waiting area however is soul less with little to view other than posters and extremely expensive food products on promotional display. Previous sales with pet products and items to purchase relieve the boredom whilst waiting instead of watching for a consultation room to open hoping it’s us next

We’ve used this vet for over 30 years and have been satisfied until now but this place really seems to have gone down hill since Medivet took over from Arncliffe and now it’s all about making as much money as possible without a thought for the dog or the owner, we took our little dog for her booster and the vet checked her over as they do and said she had 4 loose teeth that needed extracting and would email me a quote, and WOW she certainly did 🥴 £1174.04p almost £300 a tooth, our dog eats her meals and chews hard chews without any problems and is happy and content in herself, I emailed their Head Office to query the price and the Practice Manager emailed me back and said they’d got a special offer on in February and reduced the price by £425.00 but unfortunately I don’t trust them now, was the treatment really necessary and how can they reduce the price by so much unless I was been vastly overcharged in the first place, I’m sorry but you did ask !!

NO STARS!!! We had a bad experience there also, my 12 year old cat had a heart condition due to her age and took medication everyday. We phoned for a repeat prescription one time and they told us we couldn’t have it unless we took her In for a checkup first so they could listen to her heart. I explained she won’t let you touch her she never lets anyone touch her at the vets as she stresses out so much and they can’t get near her she’s been like it since day one the vets knew this! I was told that it was the only way we could get another repeat prescription even though we’d not had this problem previously. In the end we had no choice so we took her, she stressed out, they couldn’t get near her even with my help so no examination took place. During the appointment I noticed her panting like I’d never seen a cat do before and I couldn’t wait to get her out of there and home to calm her down. When home I opened the cage and she had a heart attack in front of me, I gave her CPR to try and bring her back but unfortunately it didn’t work, I lost her that day and was devastated, my partner called me to see how she’d gone on at the vet and I had to tell her we had just lost her. We phoned them straight up to tell them they had caused this as it wouldn’t have happened if they had read her notes and listened to us, they took no responsibility and told us we could have asked for a home visit, we were never offered that option and didn’t know it was even a thing!! We moved our other 3 cats out of there to Springfield at Rotherham and the service is second to non, we still can’t believe how nice the staff are and how conditioned we’d got to how rude and unprofessional they all were at Wath. The staff were always awful and rude but we put up with it for so long as when it was Arncliffe the vets were brilliant! I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone and when anyone mentions them it makes my blood boil, I still miss my baby girl to this day and it’s been 5 years since it happened! I wish I had never taken her that day. 💔
