I grew up in the wilds of Yorkshire, reading James Herriot and Richard Adams, so it seemed only natural that I became a vet. After a few years, I realised cats and dogs were a lot less muddy than farms and cows, so I moved across to small animals and now I’m part of the amazing hospital team in Poole. When not at work you'll find me curled up with my cats or being the proud mum to my cheeky teenager.

Hi, I'm Adele and I work on the night team covering out of hours and emergencies. When I'm not at work, I am kept busy with my menagerie of two dogs, two horses, a tortoise and eight ferrets. I'm soon to rehome a feral cat too. As well as this, I'm studying for a canine and equine physiotherapy degree which will help our patients while staying overnight.

My name is Donna and I am part of the emergency team. I have been a been a veterinary nurse for a really long time. It is the best and sometimes hardest job in the world! And I love it! My own cat was really poorly last year and the brilliant team @ Poole 24hr looked after us both and nursed him back to health.

I have been part of Medivet for 4 years, starting as a mobile PCA before training to become a student veterinary nurse. My favourite part of my job is looking after the inpatients so they are happy, healthy and ready to go home. At home I have 2 dogs called Poppy and Lottie as well as 4 rabbits (Benji, Evie, Teddy and Dotty). When not at work, I like spending time with my pets, diamond painting and playing games.

I'm Sian i love all animals shape and sizes and looked after many whilst living in spain for 12years. I currently have a cat called daisy-doo and my 2 axolotls, light fury and toothless. My role is a twilight patience care assistant, assisting the nurse and vets treat the poorly animals whilst assessing emergencies over the phone and talking to worried owners is the main part. Look at becoming a nurse in the future.

I'm a Registered Veterinary Nurse, I've only be qualified a year and a half, so still feel I'm learning everday. I've wanted to work in the veterinary field since I was 7 years old when we used to take my old cat to the vets. My favourite part of the job is when we care for a long term inpatient and every day we see them get slightly better until they are ready to go home. I've got a beautiful ginger cat at home called Biscuit, he is a stray I adopted from work. In my spare time, I hang out with friends and family, watch movies and play with Biscuit

1st visit for our pet. Pre op assessment. Most pleasant lady vet, sounded very clued up, gentle with pup, happy with her advice. Returning for treatment. Returned for treatment. Happy so far, pet, not so sure, but home recovering. Eating and drinking, sleeping OK. Returning in a couple of days to access progress. Goes well we hope. Vet most competent. Returned, nurse happy with progress. Returning in the New Year, pet appears to be we'll on the way to recovery and the back to her loving, happy little self.

We acquired our pup a yr. ago, registering her with Medi V immediately. Every appt. has gone V well. Ruby, not phased at all, perfect. happy to attend. From puppy Vac's to Spay, monthly and quarterly apps, she is happy to attend. Treats on her mind all the time. Vets spoil her. We know that Ruby and ourselves are the priority at each appt.

We needed to find a new vet as we have recently moved to Poole and our cat needed a prescription. We chose the surgery partly based on good reviews and partly because it is near us and we might not always drive. We weren't disappointed! The vet was absolutely lovely and our cat, who does get very scared of strangers was like putty in her hands. We discussed her treatment going forward and were also fully informed about the monthly plan, because we asked. We left feeling satisfied that we had made a good choice.

Reception, nursing and veterinary staff were all very approachable, friendly and professional. They took excellent care of myself (worried owner) and my dog.
Phoned up yesterday at 8.30 with what I thought was a serious health concern. Was told to come in at 10.15. He was kept in over night for fluids and observation. Picked him up this morning.
Would not hesitate to recommend this practise.
