Meet our Partner, Dan Shaw
After graduating from Cambridge University in 2008 I moved to Thanet to begin my career. I’ve lived locally ever since, leading a 24 Hour veterinary hospital in Canterbury for most of the past decade. I’m now excited to become co-owner of these two long-standing Medivet clinics near my family home. I’ve been recognised as an Advanced Practitioner in Diagnostic Imaging for over seven years and I believe that careful consideration of a pet’s needs, and an accurate diagnosis, are fundamental to providing good care. I live in Minnis Bay with my wife and children, enjoying regular trips to the beach and looking after our cats and guinea pig.

Toby came to have 6 month check , fleeing also nails trimmed . The staff are all excellent , very helpful and kind , everything they do is done with care and love for the animal . I have Medivet plan which i only pay once a year paying for check ups fleeing etc , only paid for nail trim . Anyone looking to join a vets practice would highly recommend this practice ,nothing is to much trouble. Thank's to all the lovely staff.

Being new to the area with two cats, one of whom is nearly 20, we had our first appointment with Dan and were very pleased with his caring and informative attitude. The information he gave us about the two cats was most helpful. We also joined in the ribbon cutting day and found the staff friendly. We are soe so pleased to have a vetinerary practice close by with staff we can trust and we already feel part of the family. Thank you all. Toni and Alex Prette
