Meet our Partner, Dan Shaw
After graduating from Cambridge University in 2008 I moved to Thanet to begin my career. I’ve lived locally ever since, leading a 24 Hour veterinary hospital in Canterbury for most of the past decade. I’m now excited to become co-owner of these two long-standing Medivet clinics near my family home. I’ve been recognised as an Advanced Practitioner in Diagnostic Imaging for over seven years and I believe that careful consideration of a pet’s needs, and an accurate diagnosis, are fundamental to providing good care. I live in Minnis Bay with my wife and children, enjoying regular trips to the beach and looking after our cats and guinea pig.

Very nice vet and receptionist. We have been with Eagle Vets for 8 years and wouldn't change. Our mark was a 9, would have been a ten if prices hadn't risen so much. Extremely pleased with overall care and service in Birchington.

We were very concerned with our dog's health but Vet Dan put us at ease, check all his vitals and gave us plenty of information on how to look after our 14 year old Border Terrier. Excellent service

Very caring and professional with Mia for her six monthly checkup and yet another clean bill of health including healthy teeth and gums. Not bad for an outdoor cat who is nearly eight years old.

I have been using Eagle Vets for 17 years and continue to have every trust in them. I find them friendly and efficient and really supportive in the sad times. The new team of vets is lovely and so are the reception and nurses.

Staff snd vets at Birchington medivets are extremely kind and caring , after losing our cat 5 weeks ago they cared for him and gave him dignity. And his brother is cared for with so much care. So nothing but the highest praise
