Meet our Partner, Leonardo Marrone
I'm Leonardo, the Partner at Medivet Canonbury. My journey began in Italy, where I graduated from the University of Teramo in 2016. Shortly after, I moved to the UK, spending four years building a strong foundation in first-opinion practice in Cardiff. This was followed by invaluable internships at two leading specialist veterinary hospitals, Lumbry Park and Hamilton Specialists, where I learned from and was inspired by exceptional colleagues. Currently, I'm dedicated to pursuing my surgical certificate, with a particular passion for orthopaedics and a wide range of surgical procedures. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy life with my partner, Eunice, and our adorable mini lop bunny, Daisy, and enjoy exploring London.

From the moment we walked through the door, the entire team was incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. They are taking great care of my cats, one of whom has been very ill. Would highly recommend.

My 14 year old schnauzer is now home after 4 days of intensive care & treatment. Everyone at this practice was exceptional in analysing & treating my very sick dog. She is now home & we want to thank ALL the vets, nurses & others who helped her get there. They were all wonderful to my dog - and me! Thsnkyou

I had an excellent experience with Medivet Canonbury. After a deeply frustrating experience with another local vet, Leo and the team were quick and responsive when I explained that my senior cat urgently needed dental treatment (the other practice were prepared to leave it 3 weeks). He was in some distress, and Leo was incredibly transparent, kind and thorough. The aftercare has also been excellent. I would highly recommend them, including over other branches of Medi Vet that I spoke to in my search for urgent care.

I contacted Medivet Canonbury regarding the paperwork and EHC for our dog’s export to the UAE. Dr. Leo, the Official Veterinarian, was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and experienced with the process of exporting a dog to the UAE. His service was truly exceptional, and he went above and beyond to make the process as smooth as possible. The entire team at Medivet Canonbury was wonderful as well. A special mention to Paul at the front desk, who was absolutely outstanding—friendly, helpful, and incredibly supportive throughout. I am extremely grateful for all their help and would highly recommend Medivet Canonbury to anyone needing veterinary assistance with pet travel and export documentation.
