Services we offer

Caring for all aspects of your pet’s oral health is easy with our excellent dental facilities.

Our nurses run weight, dental, post-op, puppy and senior clinics. They're often the easiest first port of call for the smaller questions in between full appointments.

We know that sometimes it just isn’t possible for you or your pet to travel into one of our practices to receive care. At times like this, our capable and compassionate veterinary teams often offer at home visits.

Your local Medivet practice will be able to issue an Animal Health Certificate for EU travel.

We use x-ray machines to quickly diagnose issues that might affect your pet.

Quick and efficient testing at our state-of-the-art in-house laboratories is just one aspect of the exceptional care we offer.

Our experienced orthopaedic team look after pets when bones, joints or ligaments need a closer look.

Ultrasound lets us look inside the abdomen and the heart without surgery or sedation. It's often the natural next step after blood work when something isn't quite adding up.

Switched to this practice after my vets ceased trading, and only had a check up appointment. First impressions of Rachel were that she certainly knew her stuff and was willing to talk through a lot of options regarding the ongoing health of my two Irish Setters. I was very happy with the information and the service I received, and although they were slightly more expensive than the previous vet, I left there knowing my dogs were in good hands. I feel confident that they could handle most things my dogs are likely to throw at them.

they rinsed me of money because they didnt have a clue, I had to scream for them to take me seriously while my dog was trying desperately to breath collapsing in the reception. Horrid receptionist with no heart, horrid vet with no heart, I had to say to them, "do you even care he is suffering?" It was clear they wanted to bump the bill up as much as possible, well they got me to about £2 grand in an hour, They then left my beautiful dog suffering, and eventually due to their own incompetence left me no option but to have him put to sleep to mercifully end that suffering. If I had gone to my own vet he would have been taken straight away and put in an oxygen tent, or his lungs drained, or another humane treatment, DISGUSTING. The worse vet Ive ever been to and I intend to report them.

Every time I visit. There seems to be a different vet. This is a bit disconcerting, although I stress that the last two have been kind and efficient.

My cat had her routine health check, booked very easily online. She was handled with care during her thorough examination. Advice on her dental care, weight and diet was given in a reassuring way - all without charge as it is part of her pet plan. Advice and treatment was also given on a new skin complaint. Excellent service.
