I graduated as a Veterinary Surgeon in Portugal 16 years ago and have been living in the UK for 10 years, initially working as a companion animal vet while finishing my PhD at Cardiff University. I joined the team at Medivet Llandaff North as a Partner in December 2020. Since arriving in the UK, I've worked in multiple roles as an emergency vet and have been a Clinical Director and Senior Clinical Director. I have a keen interest in emergency surgery, avian and wildlife medicine.

Great support from Joao and the team, they genuinely care about Geddy my standard poodle. We have used Medivet since 2020 when Geddy was born. An extremely happy customer.

All the staff in the practice are lovely. However the vet I saw the last time wasn’t. I found him condescending and rude. I will make an effort to book in with the other 2 vet’s in the future as they are both polite and patient.

A great vets. Always a lovely warm welcome at reception. Lovely to chat when they can with a treat makes them loved by my dog
Student vets are very thorough and if they don’t know an answer they always go check with a vet. Very nice ladies

Like most pets she doesn't like the vets, medivet were great with her, had more trouble in the car.
