Great pre op consultation where i was given a choice of pricedures. In addition compared to another practice nearby ths was a far bettet option. Vet totally understood my background and the lifestyle of my dog.

We switched to MediVet in November 2025 and they have been absolutely fantastic from the get go. All the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating and they’ve been so supportive while dealing with my cat’s deteriorating health, including staying over and hour late to see her during a flare up, to organising home visits to ensure she’s more comfortable in her environment for bloods and blood pressure checks (big shout out to Veronica and Helen for this one, you’re both amazing!). We’d previously had a very poor experience with Vets for Pets but the girls at MediVet have completely restored our trust and they are a complete breath of fresh air compared to some other practices. We’re only sorry we didn’t switch sooner.

This veterinary practice is first rate in its services for pets and their owners. I strongly recommend them, they have been looking after our 3 cats for 15 years and all three are doing well. At a time when Vets practices are getting a poor press, they are open about costs and willing to find good solutions.

I find the practice and the staff very helpful and supportive. However, the only issue l have is that the 'out of hours' service at Wear Referals, is miles from where l live, and a long way to travel in an emergency. Otherwise, l am happy with the service provided.

The staff are absolutely amazing, listen to any concerns you may have and take time to reassure you, pity my cat can't talk for himself, he loves going there, walks into his cat basket when I tell him where he's going, only cries when I bring him home, they're the best vets I've ever used, and I've had animals for over 60yrs.

At Premier Vets we pride ourselves on offering our clients genuine value and uncompromising compassionate care. Daily consults are run by the veterinary surgeon for everything from routine examinations to vaccinations, including micro-chipping. Our in house lab has hi-spec blood and urine analysis equipment and microscope for same day results. In our fully equipped operating theatre we have a hydraulic tilting operating table, pulse oximeter, blood pressure monitor and oesophageal stethoscope for safer anaesthetic monitoring.
