Hi, I’m Safia! I’m a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) from South London with a lifelong passion for animal care. My favourite animal is the tiger, and I recently adopted two rescue kittens. Outside of work, I love cooking, visiting museums, and enjoying a good cheese board — though you won’t catch me with black coffee or animal-tested products!

The vet who examined Lulu on 2nd April 2026 was amazing.
She was very caring, did thorough examination of eyes, teeth, joints and Lulu was the most comfortable I have seen her during her appointments.
My thank you to the Vet.

I phoned for medication that was on file, in the morning i phoned again after lunch told again dont worry but 6pm plus i was tiold oh no nothing has been done and it was my attitude (call recorded) they said I had enough medication BUT if they had listened to their staff and their mistake on the repeat presication and lowering the bottle size as the early staff had then both my cats wouldnt have missed medication that their. After strong words passed suddenly after waiting 6 hrs its ready!

Whilst I was apologised too it is the longest I've ever had to wait for an appointment 20 mins so my cat was more distressed than usual. I was on time. And I felt the appointment was not as through as usual.

I am trying to establish a relationship with the new to me permanent vet Erica. First time I visited she was 100% professional/focused but no smile or pleased to meet you/your pet really. I booked an appointment for earliar in the week and had to change but on both occasions I said I would like to see Erica and stated above. I arrived to find I would be seen by a locum and after enquiry it was confirmed Erica had been off all week!! I rang the week before. This could be a potential reason for changing practice after many years for me. The locum I saw Chanuki however was very professional and dealt with my after visit queries promptly that day which was appreciated but there is no assurance that she will be there in the future. Tilly was also focused on dealing with my queries and understanding.

I can’t say we’ve always had the best service at this clinic, however on the 21st of March we had the vet Adam who was outstanding. Both my partner and I immediately felt at ease and immediately warmed at heart when our cat Nala happily sat with him, his warmth and rappel building with our pet and ourselves was so appreciated. We’ve recently had so many issues with our cats ears and we really appreciated Adam taking the time to show us how to clean them and look for yeast. Great service and a true cat charmer thank you so much it made our day!

Avoid Medivet New Cross: Breach of Contract, Incompetence, and Unethical Billing Do not trust this branch with your pets or your money. After a formal complaint regarding their lack of transparency and clinical negligence, the Practice Manager, Torri, agreed in writing on 14/01/26 to a "settlement." I was told that if I paid the remainder of my Medivet Health Plan (MHP) upfront (£203), the kittens would be vaccinated and my account would be supported for a transfer to another branch. I held up my end of the deal and paid in full. As soon as Medivet had my money, they reneged on the agreement. Despite the plan being paid-in-full, the reception team is now refusing to provide the treatments included in that very plan. They are happy to take your "prepaid" fees, but the moment you ask for the actual goods you’ve paid for, they "refuse service." They failed to manage a basic vaccination schedule, then tried to charge "retail" penalty fees when the timeline was missed due to their own lack of follow-up. Their "ledgers" are illegible, handwritten scrawls that no professional business should be issuing - see attached. This practice is run like a debt collection agency, not a veterinary clinic. They care more about squeezing "cancellation fees" out of caring pet owners than the actual welfare of the animals. I am now forced to escalate this to a dispute with my credit card company (who have already refunded me due to how clear the case is) and will also be sending the email chain to the Veterinary Client Mediation Service. Save yourself the stress and the "hidden" costs and take your pets to a vet that actually values animal health over predatory billing practices.
