I brought my 7 year old cat in as he'd been having issues going to the toilet following a tail injury. He ended up developing a urinary blockage. We came into many issues with this practice (the vet forcefully lifted my cats tail even after I had told him about the injury), but what really took me aback was the lack of care and empathy. I was told I needed to pay a large amount of money up front to get treatment for my cat and that if I could not pay that he would be put down. Understandably devastated, I was given no payment options, and I was specifically told I had 15 minutes to "make a decision and get the money". Absolutely no empathy, support or human decency was shown. Thankfully, I was able to get a loan and my cat is happy and healthy now, but this situation still haunts me. Absolutely heartless.

Avoid. Save the trouble and go somewhere else. I had an appointment booked, only to turn up and there be no vet available so had to go straight home. My cat was extremely distressed and panting throughout and was offered zero care or empathy when I was there.

The Vet, Gillian Hasberry is excellent. We have known her for many years, and feel that the continuity is very important. (Our cat isn’t the most compliant when taken to the vets, and she is like the “Cat Whisperer”, at calming her). She communicates her findings/any treatment required and we have great confidence in her. The nurses at Medivet Oadby are also very helpful and friendly, An excellent team!

We have been clients for many years, and we can’t thank the staff enough for their kind caring attitude, showing professionalism at all times. They always have time to discuss any concerns. The dogs love all the staff and they are always made to feel special.
