Meet our Partner, Tom Evans
I am the Partner and Lead Veterinary Surgeon at Medivet St Helens, becoming a Partner here in 2013. I originally qualified from the University of Bristol in 2006 and began my career in traditional mixed practice before focusing on small animals over the past 15 years. I hold a certificate in Small Animal Medicine and enjoy surgery, ultrasound, and cardiac workups. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, walking my dog Cyrille, and competing in Ironman triathlons.

Always caring, the receptionist are so welcoming and happy to help. Vets are great and putting our dog at ease and really care for them I have already recommended Medivet to my friends. I have tried other local vets but not happy with them.

St Helens Medivet is a welcoming place. The staff are really amazing friendly and supportive .

The Receptionists were pleasant and efficient! 🙂 The Vet was also pleasant and friendly and answered all our questions about Mowgli and Pippa; would highly recommend Medivet St Helens! 🐈⬛🐈❣️

Monday 22nd June 2026. Took Alfie and Maisie my two Yorkshire Terriers for their six monthly check up with the Vet - Tom. He was very patient with them albeit Maisie gets herself worked up into a frenzie every time we visit. Tom was very thorough checking them both over and gave them a "clean bill of health". The Reception Team are just amazing and they know your animals and recognise them when they see them in surgery. Excellent Vets - Excellent Staff - Would highly recommend them to anyone seeking a reliable Vet.
