Daniel Bitea

Lead Veterinary Surgeon

My name is Daniel Bitea and I am the Lead Veterinary Surgeon at Medivet Stoke-on-Trent. I have received my veterinary diploma in Romania at the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Cluj-Napoca in June 2012 after six years of studying. In Autumn of 2012 I was employed at the small animal veterinary hospital Gini House near my home town of Baia Mare, in Romania. After a year and a half working there, I decided to move on and in Autumn of 2014 I had the opportunity to relocate to Denmark where I worked as a small animal mobile vet for the veterinary branch of Petworld company. After three years in Denmark I was recruited by a veterinary company from UK to work for them and in December 2017 I relocated to Birmingham. I worked as a vet for various vet practices for the next three years, all within the same company. In 2019 I enrolled in a veterinary certificate in small animal surgery with Improve International, a course that I finished in 2021. In Autumn of 2021 I received an offer to join Medivet Stoke-on-Trent as a lead vet, and since then I have worked here, minus a little gap in 2024. As a vet, I am mainly interested in the pathology of dogs and cat, with a further focus on surgery an ultrasound scanning. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family as well as listening to music and reading sci-fi books. Recently, I have added woodworking to my hobbies.

Veterinary Nurse

I began my career at Medivet Stoke-on-Trent in January 2019, initially joining the clinic for a week of school work experience. Since then, I have continued to develop my skills and knowledge through a range of professional courses and qualifications, and achieved my qualification as a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) in May 2026. I have a particular interest in endocrinology and feline behaviour, and I enjoy expanding my knowledge in these areas to support the care and wellbeing of our patients. Outside of work, I have a Springer Spaniel at home named Oscar, who has been a part of my family since 2017. I am also a keen football fan and enjoy following my team each week.

I came to this clinic thinking it was good. Dr. Daniel Bitea is simply an unscrupulous man!!!! I will pay for it if he doesn't solve this for my dog willingly! I came to him on the 23rd, telling the gentleman that my dog walks very hard with his back legs, I explained that I don't know exactly what it is and he simply just gave him a kind of massage and said that it was nothing that it was from the perianal glands. I told him that his vaccine schedule was just done and that after he recovers, if we start it again and he said that we can do the first one now! He gave me a syrup, I repeated to him that my dog has a 100% back problem because his back legs were not 100% stable but somewhere at 70%. he said convinced that this is what it is. he vaccinated our dog (WHICH THE NEW VETERINARY TOLD ME IS NOT NORMAL as long as the dog is in pain elsewhere because he had an adverse reaction!!!!) BECAUSE OF THIS UNSCRUBLED MAN.. my dog started having allergies from his vaccine and his carelessness is causing problems!!!!! MY DOG IS NOT DOING WELL ANYMORE. HE HAS A BROKEN BLOOD VESSEL IN HIS RIGHT EYE AND HIS VISION IS LOST!!!!!! I WILL NOT LEAVE IT LIKE THIS IF THIS DOES NOT SOLVE IT SO THAT MY DOG CAN STILL BE SAVED!!!!!!! IT COSTS £4,500 HERE WHICH I DON'T HAVE + MANY OTHER TREATMENTS! THIS EITHER SOLVES MY DOG, OR EVERYTHING WILL BE LEGAL!!!!!!! MY DOG HAS A CRISIS OF WALKING, HE CAN'T SEE ANYMORE, HE CAN'T WALK EVEN 60% WELL!!!!!!!!! SOLVE MY DOG AS SOON AS POSSIBLE OTHERWISE IT WILL BE RESOLVED OTHERWISE!!
