Every visit I have here brings stress to my cat because they don’t have separate waiting rooms for cats and dogs… like a normal vet does. They need an excuse to take your money anyway so will be changing vets as soon as I can. Rude receptionists, are they told to show customers sass in their training? I wonder. Not recommended at all, especially for cat owners.

So much care was given to my dog over the years, when he was too ill and suffering the care that was put in to give him a dignified and painless end was second to none

All staff take time to encourage and help the animal. Vet is knowledgeable and thorough and takes time to get to know your pet. Staff always try to give you an appointment as close to when you need it. I have been with this survey before and after the change (some 30 yrs) and wouldn’t change

I have been unable to take my border collie to a vet for 2 years due to her nervous aggression, and her vet not idealy wanting to see her and only doing over the phone consultations, the law changed this year and now they have to see her, we was advised to find another vet as they couldn't accommodate her. We changed to medivet and had our first visit today. I am overwhelmed on how all the staff were so accommodating and friendly, they listened to us as a pet owner and took care and time and helped make a plan going forward to help her get used to the new environments of the vets. Everything was so calm there was enough space for us to allow the room she needed, and all the staff were amazing, so much so that our "aggressive dog" did not growl or bark once, this is a massive step forward and I am so greatful that my DOLLY is now getting the care she needs. Thank you so much for such care and a positive outcome.

From a month ago… I have never not been able to get an appointment at this place in the 30 years my family has used it under Arthur’s name, medivet step in and now I have to call at 8am the next day for a dog that hadn’t eaten or drank for 48hours (not enough of an emergency for them) Our dog has seasonal allergies that Arthur managed to get under control year on year… now he’s gone we’re fighting to get it under control as they don’t want to give him the previous medication in his record for the last 4 years but want to try and diagnose it as something else and treat it with the most expensive medication available! We were paying £100ish pounds for a one off treatment, now they want £100 a month to “control it”. It’s not the place it used to be and I would seriously reconsider if you’re thinking of joining
