Our Spaniel had a problem with his ear just prior to going on holiday & we didn’t want to go away knowing he possibly had a grass seed or anything stuck in his ear canal.
As nothing could be found but he continued to shake his head the vet proscribed some steroid tablets?
We’ve had a few days away on holiday & he’s not shaking his head now but doesn’t like us looking in his ear.
The vet suggested we take him back in two weeks time or so to have farther investigation.
I believe he needed antibiotics not steroids but I’m no vet.
I wouldn’t be surprised if our spaniel has some sort of ear infection.
This is our local practice yet it was put to us we could go 20 miles out of our way to the next nearest branch in Swanland.???
