I qualified in 1994 from Langford Veterinary School, and have worked in a variety of practices throughout the country from single vet to large hospitals from small animal to mixed farm animals. I have witnessed many changes over the years in the veterinary world, but more importantly veterinary medicine has advanced significantly meaning much improved care for our animals. I have a passion for anaesthesia and have recently passed the Veterinary Nurse Certificate in Anaesthesia. I also enjoy seeing the trainee nurses progressing through their careers and helping them with their training. Outside of work I enjoy being outdoors, usually riding my horse, walking the dog, and general farm work on the family small holding.

I am new to motherhood with my son (for those who wondered where I went for 6 months) and now back to work part time. In my down time I like to be outside where possible and spending time with my family and friends. I have been an adult instructor for somerset army cadets since 2012. I love walking with and without my dogs some distances are a bit excessive at 25 miles + . I am also a bit a crazy crochet lady with 100 + projects always on the go.

A lovely friendly service as anxious to change vets but the service we received from initial phone all to booking and appointment was excellent. All the staff we met were really attentive and obviously passionate about their role

Medivet at Creech Castle is a fantastic vet practice. The reception staff, veterinary nurses, and the vets are so friendly, professional, kind, caring and show that our dog’s health and well-being is very important to them.
We feel listened to, and we know our knowledge and intuition about our dog is valued by the team. We are involved in the decision making process about our pet’s care, and we also trust the vets advice and decisions.

Usually had no issues with MediVets but today was different after being a client for many years but they have really disappointed me as of today when I found out I have to go register my dog with another vets to get a health check certificate. I was booked in like every year for all his regular stuff before travel but this year I get a letter saying the ONLY vet that can produce the certificate isn’t there and I need to rebook, no problem. After wanting to rebook I was told by the receptionist that that specific vet is their only certified enough vet to produce the certificate, then I was told that she booked holiday after I booked my dog in knowing she was the only one that can do it. Zero planning and zero respect to what was a loyal client for many years. I would stay well away if you need someone reliable

We are Medivet clients in Kent but whilst on holiday contacted the Taunton practice as our dog was unwell. The receptionist couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. She offered us an appointment just a few hours after our call. The vet was fantastic, she understood our concern and offered medication but just as importantly she gave us practical advice and put our minds at rest. 5 Star service, thank you.
