Johan and his team are brilliant. Johan offers excellent treatment and is very caring and compassionate. He had the task of putting our beloved Black Cat Megan to sleep after . Even through this sad time Johan was so caring to the whole family and Megan. He advises you through all treatments available and gives the up most care towards our cats as if they are his own. Would not use any other vets. All his staff are helpful and lovely caring people.

I have always found Medivet staff very helpful and Johan the vet very thorough when checking my two cats over. He offers advice too and will recommend diets etc. have used them for years.

From the time I rang to book an appointment to seeing Johan was excellent. Staff and nurses extremely helpful, and very accommodating. Johan explained everything in detail and gave us all options on how to proceed with a particular treatment. Answered all questions we had silly or not, given us detailed answers, pros and cons for each treatment and what outcome to expect and gave us time to think about our next step. Brilliant service, would not take my best friend anywhere else. Thank you all at Thorpe bay

My dogs have been registered with Medivet Thorpe Bay for the past few years following some disappointing experiences with our previous vets, and I genuinely couldn't be happier with the care we've received. Johan and the entire team have consistently provided exceptional care, professionalism, and compassion. They have earned my complete trust, and I always feel confident that my dogs are in the very best hands. My older dog, Barney, has faced several health challenges, including cancer, and throughout it all the team has treated him with incredible kindness, patience, and genuine affection. They have always been transparent about treatment options and costs, and I've never felt under any pressure - only supported and informed every step of the way. Barney visits so regularly these days that even the reception team know him by name, which says a lot about the personal touch this practice provides! I cannot recommend Medivet Thorpe Bay highly enough. Thank you to Johan and the whole team for everything you do. ❤️
