Meet our Partner, Van Hua

I qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon 26 years ago and have been with Medivet Thorpe Bay Shoebury Rd for 13 years. I have a special interest in surgery and exotics and as well as gaining a certificate in Small Animal Surgery, I have a masters in Aquaculture (fish). When I’m not working, I like spending quality time with my family and my work family. I like to keep fit by indoor cycling and I like the occasional tipple of red wine.

Staff are always friendly and happy, you can tell they enjoy their work place. The vets are lovely and show a genuine care for your 4 legged family members. Pricing is transparent and very reasonable in comparison to the local area practices.
Wouldn’t go anywhere else with my feline and K9 family members

From the moment you enter medivet your welcome and greeted with a smile you don't feel like your at a vets practice ( mind you that could me as I always in there with one of my 6 cats ) Amanda at reception is always at hand to answer any concerns or queries she warm and welcoming and she know nearly all the clients that walks in and makes all the clients feels welcome even if she having a bad day herself, I usually see Van depending on which cat is needing to see as I say a dr, van never rushes you likes to explore all options available van works with you in treatments going forward and you never feel alone in your pets moments of need, I feel confident in the nurses when i need to hand my cats over for the day they be given the best care I sure at one point my cats has seen them all you can have the weight of worry with your pets and still never feel alone with the Shoebury Rd medivet team
