I used to love this vet. Meha was amazing and so knowledgeable, not out to make a quick buck. Unfortunately now he's been ousted and Charlotte is in charge, everything is about what they can charge extra for. Even on a routine check up you can't escape them insisting your pet needs something more. Really sad, as soon as the Medicare plan is finished I'm looking elsewhere

If the clinic is closed due to vet illness for example, can I strongly recommend that you please contact affected customers with a telephone call or send a text message instead of sending an email on the day.
I do not check my emails every day and unfortunately on Saturday 4th July, I travelled to the Battersea clinic with my cat in tow on one of the hottest days to make my scheduled 12:45pm appointment, only to discover a sign taped to the door advising the clinic was closed due to vet illness - This was hugely annoying, disappointing and really inconvenient as it cost me both time, money and unnecessary stress to my pet.
I didn't recall being notified, so I quickly checked both my text and Whatsapp messages and then my emails as a last resort, only to discover an email had been sent out same day at 9:52am.
Sending an email on the day for what I consider a fairly important notification, doesn't seem the right thing to do in this current day. An SMS text or Whatsapp message or call (to leave a voicemail) seems a more effective and sensible direct contact approach due to the immediacy of the situation.

My review was only based on my last experience and not the past visits. The receptionist wasn’t rude but didn’t acknowledge me when I arrived nor when it was time to pay (including eye contact) I could have easily walked out without paying. Waited for 10mins to be seen. I appreciate this practice may have revolving staff so it may have been this occasion

I’ve been taking my dog to Medivet for the past five years now and they have always been so brilliant. Charlotte is amazing and so kind and caring that my tiny Chihuahua actually looks forward to going to the vet. I really think she goes above and beyond and answers all of the tiny detailed questions that I have about home care and after treatment.

I called into this practice as a one off as I was looking after my friends petv. I spoke to Arianna on the phone and she got me an appointment, despite it being last minute. The vet team were amazing and left me feeling reassured with a treatment plan in place! Thank you so much!

My pets are always so cared for at Medivet Battersea :)
The vet helped me to sync up my two cats' 6 monthly checkups and vaccinations, meaning only one trip to the vets with the cats (if you know you know!!)
The care and love my cats were given was so lovely, and what every pet owner wants to experience. The lovely vet trimmed the cat's nails and told me to bring the grooming brush next time so I can take advantage of the cats being still and calm. He helped me to find and remove stubborn mats in the cats' fur and went above and beyond what I'd expect.

Absolutely disgusting 🫣 the grooming was terrible, he looked a total mess, and was shaved very badly. I am so upset 😡 only 3 of is nails was cut and the job was rushed. Ill never bring my cat there again 😔
