Always gives anlternatives and cost options.

I booked three appointments for my three cats online on the same day so that each appointment would be next to each other - this was for their vaccinations. This was done a few weeks in advance. The day of the appointment, we received a phone call informing us that the appointments had to be cancelled because the vet was not available. My dad took this call. I then called the vets back that morning and asked if we could reschedule the appointment for another day. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. She said that there was a slot with two appointments in the morning, but since we had been rescheduled, they would fit the third cat in. When I arrived with my three cats, again the receptionist was very friendly and checked all three cats in - she was already aware of their names and made me feel like I was in good hands. Up until this point, I was very happy with the clinic. I understand that sometimes appointments need to be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances, and I felt like the clinic had been able to resolve the problem well. However, when I went in for my appointment with the vet he was surprised that there were three cats and said that there were only two appointment slots. I explained that the receptionist had told us that we could bring three cats. He seemed quite annoyed by this and was quite terse. It meant that I felt like the appointment was rushed, which made me tense. My cats also became tense and responded more negatively than usual to being handled by a vet. The vet asked me to administer the worming tablets to my cats because he did not feel like he could get them to cooperate. My cats have had many vet visits throughout their lives for annual vaccinations, worming and spay and they do not usually find the vets stressful. I am comfortable giving pills to my cats because I was shown how by a previous vet, but I felt that this vet did not make enough of an effort to connect with my cats and make them comfortable because he was rushing the appointment. He then apologised for the situation but said that he was not expecting three cats when there were two appointments. I replied, saying that I was not expecting to have to reschedule my appointment. It would have been better if the vet had been informed in advance.

What a really nice and passionately Vet was Joao simply so helpful and only wanted to make my boy well. Talked me through everything and he really cared about my boy Jack shown so much care for him and pleased to say Jack is at his barking best big thank you Joao and your lovely receptionist staff so kind and nice big thank You 👍❤️

Dr João was extremely professional and very patient with my dog Babe, treating her with great kindness and care. I felt very reassured and confident she was in safe hands, and Babe also seemed much calmer during the visit. Everything was explained clearly. Thank you very much for looking after Babe so well.
