I took my new 11 year old rescue cat (Polly) to Medevet (Gatley branch) for a full health check two days ago. As is usual at Gatley, the receptionists were very friendly and helpful, the practice was calm, clean, tidy and welcoming.I didn't have to wait very long before going in with Polly to see the vet who was very thorough she got a clean bill of health. I was also very pleasantly surprised to be told that there wasn't any charge at all for just a health check. I thoroghly recommend Medevet (Gatley) to all. Not because I didn't have to pay anything on that visit, but I've never felt "Ripped off" on any of my previous visits to that branch. Most important though it's because of the loving care and attention and respect that all staff show towards the animals. Thank you Gatley.

Took my puppy for treatment. Great vet. Mr Ali Gundogu was fantastic and very gentle with my little pup. We were seen on time.

Always glad that there are separate waiting rooms for cats and dogs. Makes it less stressful for my cat. We were seen promptly and the vet was caring and professional.

Orthopaedic care
When a pet starts limping, going up the stairs more slowly, or refusing the walk they used to love, it's often a joint, ligament or bone behind it. Our team looks after orthopaedic cases from the first consultation through to surgery and follow-up, with imaging and theatres on site. The sooner we have a look, the more we can usually do.

Soft tissue surgery
Lumps, hernias, wounds, and the things inside that need attention but don't involve bone. Soft tissue surgery is a big part of what we do here. The team will support you through the operation and the recovery, with monitoring and pain relief planned from the start.
